?We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Wayleave and Land Services Manager to join the senior management team of our Professional Services division as a Senior Partner.  The main purpose of the role is to lead and develop the Land Services team and to shape the strategic direction of the business unit.

Our Land Services team strives to be a leader within the land rights consultancy business offering a first class service and this exciting opportunity will see you promoting the team as a strategic partner, able to collaborate on the key challenges facing our clients. 

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

·      Leading the Wayleave and Land Services team with the support of 4 direct reports and a team of 20 direct employees and several contract staff;

·      Developing and mentoring the team to encourage a continuous improvement culture leading to progression, particularly for our newer team members;

·      Developing key policies and processes to align to the changing requirements of the business as well as driving performance.

·      Building upon our strong reputation for delivery ;

·      Providing expert advice and support to the Wayleave and Land Services team and our clients;

·      Influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and clients;

·      Supporting, maintaining and improving relationships with existing clients;

·      Actively pursuing new work leads and attracting new clients;

·      Ensuring statutory and policy compliance for our clients;

·      Management of monthly and annual budgets and forecasts;

·      Management and reporting on the operational and financial performance to the Professional Services Division and Executive leadership.


·      Extensive knowledge of wayleaves, land and property law, and valuation are essential;

·      Experience and knowledge of the utilities industry;

·      Demonstrable experience in a leadership position with strong people management skills;

·      Ideally qualified to degree level in a relevant subject.
