Location: Warrington

?Due to increased workload, we have created a vacancy for a Quality Auditor on one of our key contract frameworks.  The main purpose of the role is to ensure that contract specification and quality of building works is maintained in line with client specification.

The main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Ensure that all operations teams comply with current requirements and shortcomings are reported to senior management immediately.
  • To advise and support the project team in all aspects of quality control in the running of the minor works contract.
  • To work with the business to help them to take ownership and personal responsibility for managing their operations compliantly rather than simply performing an audit-type role
  • To support, educate and advise the Project team on quality issues and assist in the pursuit and achievement of excellence within SHEQ disciplines and maintain best practice.
  • To strive to proactively prevent operational deficiencies on site.
  • To proactively monitor compliance on site and communicate issues to the project team and the Regional Director.
  • Conduct quality audits on all teams at a rate as directed by the Operations Manager and the Regional Director.
  • Raising of quality issues to project team and issuing defect reports to the operational team.  Ensuring all defects are closed out in a timely fashion.
  • Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues.
  • Assess product quality and advise on standards.
  • Ensure all products incorporated on site and in line with ENW specifications.
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
  • Discuss emerging compliance issues with management or employees.
  • Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.
  • Prepare management reports regarding quality issues and progress of rectification work.
  • Design or implement improvements in compliance standards.
  • Working in a team to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation, such as line managers, accountants and senior managers at board level.

Key Requirements;

  • Experience with quality control & audits on building & civils work
  • Knowledge of civils and building maintenance
  • Intermediate Excel Skills
  • Previous experience in utilities sector would be desirable
  • A qualification relating to building & civils or demonstrable experience
